As your Postpartum Doula I am here to nurture you. When a child is born so is a new version of yourself and with that requires love, care and a village of support. There is no instruction manual given to you once you have given birth and that can be overwhelming! Although your instincts are there, having the knowledge and support when caring for your baby, can make those early days much more relaxed! One of the most important aspects of my offerings is the emotional support I provide for you and your family. Those first few weeks your emotions are heightened and by having that reassurance and support within your space, it will ensure you feel empowered, strong and ready for this new chapter in your lives. Depending on you and your family’s needs, my role may look different day to day, therefore we always have a discussion on what YOU need from me. The fourth trimester is such a special, overwhelming, and pivotal moment in your life. I want you to feel seen, heard and respected so that you can enjoy this time and soak in every moment. |
